Fast AbstractsA Fast Abstract paper is a lightly reviewed, two-page technical article either on new ideas or work in progress, or opinion pieces that can address any issue relevant to dependable and secure systems and networks. Contributions are particularly solicited from industrial practitioners and academics who may not have been able to prepare full papers for DSN, but nevertheless seek an opportunity to engage with the DSN community. Because they are brief and have a later deadline, FastAbstract papers enable their authors to: Thus, they provide an excellent opportunity to introduce new or early-stage work, or present radical opinions, and receive early feedback from the community. The presenter will have the opportunity to interact with other researchers and practitioners to discuss their work and thus refine their work. Important Dates

• Camera ready paper: April 28, 2016 Submission Guidelines Papers submitted to the Fast Abstracts track should be at most two pages in length and must be formatted using the IEEE Computer Society camera-ready 8.5”x11” two-column camera-ready format (using a 10-point font on 12-point single-spaced leading). The templates are reproduced below for your convenience, and further details can be found here. All accepted papers will be published in the DSN supplemental volume, and will be presented in dedicated sessions.
The FastAbstract proceedings will be made permanently accessible and referenceable via the HAL open archive system.
HAL is a multi-disciplinary open access archive for the deposit and dissemination of scientific research documents, whether they are published or not. The documents may come from teaching and research institutions in France or abroad, or from public or private research centers.
